Booking
A booking is binding upon the tour participants and Local Walking Tour as soon as the participants have paid for the booking. Our tour guide services are charged in U$D and invoiced without VAT in accordance with a special scheme for tour guide services in Brazil.
Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to localwalkingtour@gmail.com
PS: be aware that that is no refund 24 hour before the tour takes place
Tour Content
The tour descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Every tour is personal and unique depending on the tour guide and the traffic and weather conditions on the day. Local Walking Tour does not in any way guarantee that specific sights will be visited.

Liability
Favela Walking Tour is not responsible for any risk hazard, physical damage, injury, accidents or death of our customers and guides. In addition to that, Favela Walking Tour claims no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or schedule change due to weather, strike or any other cause beyond our control.
We will make every effort to safeguard our customers and their personal property, but cannot be held responsible for personal events beyond the tour operators’ control, or to damage sustained by tourists including those occurring outside the touring program.
Favela Walking Tour acts in good faith, and cannot be held responsible for any agent, hotel, coach operator, tour guide or any other person’s, company’s acts, defaults or delays. We, therefore, advise all customers to have comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies.
Personal Data
The tour participants consent to the processing of their personal data by Local Walking Tour for administrative purposes.
Complaints
Any complaints regarding the services provided by Local Walking Tour must be communicated in writing to favelawalkingtour@gmail.com
Disputes
In the event of a dispute, if the tour participants and Local Walking Tour fails to reach the agreement during negotiation, any dispute shall be settled according to Brazilian law.
